My Giant Leap -project was studying solubilities for dissolved gases in different transformer oils. The work consisted of sample preparation and analysis of the gases in oils using GC-FID/TCD. My job was also to improve and validate the solubility measurement reference method. After the summer I was tasked to give a 10 minute presentation on this project.My other tasks included helping R&D in problem solving using GC-MS, improving the documentation and working instructions for the solubility analysis, and general laboratory work/ maintenance.

Residue analysis of sulphoamides, tetracyclines and chloramphenicol in meat and milk samples using LC-MS/MS. Determination of PAH-compounds in oil samples using GC-MS/MS. I was also a part of two LEAN-projects to improve the effectiveness of analytical instruments and work methods.

My work consisted of analysis of mechanical and dielectric properties of high frequency polymer compounds. Other tasks included injection molding and structural analysis using DSC, TGA and FTIR.

I did my Bachelor's thesis on fat extraction in dietary fibre analysis for samples with high fat concentration. My work also involved testing a new Fibertec-unit for analyzing dietary fibre from grain and plant samples.

My work consisted researching Yersinia, Salmonella and Listeria bacteria with plating and PCR methods. The work also included DNA extraction and identification of bacteria with biochemical and PCR methods.
