I have worked in the public safety sector for over 15 years in areas such as learning and development, training governance and compliance, and leadership and development for emergency services staff and volunteers. As Principal Program Manager, I facilitate leadership and management opportunities and development for staff and volunteers across the organisation and advocate for a strengths-based culture and growth mindset for personal and professional achievement. As a coach and mentor to both internal and external emergency service and public sector staff, I find it extremely rewarding to have connected conversations with a view for personal insight and development. I am proud that my work with the Workforce Development Unit, QFES has designed, developed, and delivered the first foundational leadership program - Leading Self Program for staff and volunteers across Queensland. I believe the leadership insights individuals take away from the program will contribute to a more connected and capable community. My colleagues describe me as friendly, authentic and loyal and I place high value in providing a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace. One thing you may not know about me is that I speak three languages and I’m about to embark on another language learning journey.
