As a production assistant with MPI I am responsible for the control of daily inventories, shipping histories and planning. The control of raw material inflows and outflows to particular jobs, and the costs associated, overhead, SG&A, etc. Besides costing and inventory controls, health and safety meetings, invoicing customers, and collections of accounts were also performed. The development of a new computer system for the operations of the company was also a large part of my time so far with Master Packaging. This project has has allowed me the time to develop team work skills, overall knowledge of accounting principles, and built upon my knowledge, skills and abilities in the packaging industry.

While with Indian River Farms (subsidiary to MPI) I was able to have full exposure to financial statement development and review. Along with the development of these statements I was responsible for Workers Compensation Benefits and payroll services for the 'Farm.' Very hands on with manager support for guidance.

Though general labor practices were a major part of my daily roll. While working for BTW I was first exposed to inventory controls and practices. This included the control of location of inventory, the ordering of packaging, supplies and a small bit of logistics was included here. The planning of loads to airports and local business was how logistics tied into my everyday duties at BTW.
