Power Engineer
Current• Responsible to operate 2 fire tube high-pressure boilers at 165 psi, glue making and treatment of plant wastewater• Other equipment responsibilities include deaerator, high pressure receiver, water testing and chemical treatment, and oil pumps• Responsible for Statistical Process Controls such as Daily Boiler Room Inspection Log Checklist that records normal pressures and temperatures, and the glue making process, including a viscosity and gel temperature test of the finished product to ensure consistency and to record the results of each test• Strong ability to adapt to a changing environment, such as new equipment and production processes• Experience working around storage tanks containing glue and waste water• Site specific industrial lift truck operator course (2014)• Level 1 Fall Protection • Work a schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and reliability centered maintenance• Knowledgeable of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program for food safety• Successfully completed training in the use, limitations and maintenance of a half mask respirator (Brunswick Fyr & Safety Accessories, Ltd.)
