In my role in the Coalition for Action, I am dedicated to advancing an achievable and just energy transition by undertaking a range of responsibilities that include:1. Facilitating strategic planning and coordination of activities within the Coalition, including the Steering Group and Working Groups.2. Fostering collaboration between non-governmental stakeholders, Coalition members, and IRENA. In doing so, I closely collaborate with various teams and divisions at IRENA. 3. Coordination and preparation of written materials pertaining to the Coalition and its Working Groups. This including drafting analytical papers, joint statements, and position papers, offering critical reviews for contributions from fellow Coalition members.4. Organising outreach and engagement initiatives under the Coalition, which involve high-level international meetings, public-private dialogues, and workshops. 5. Additionally, I conduct research to draft studies on renewable energy policy and related economic trends, providing valuable insights and recommendations for policy-making audiences at regional and local levels, all aimed at accelerating renewable energy deployment and promoting sustainable development.

As part of the Executive Office in the Office of the Director-General, I was exposed to, and able to engage with, the incredible breadth of IRENA's deliverables and work streams, across the gambit of renewable energy from technologies to policy development and project facilitation - all in the pursuit of sustainable development, energy access, energy security and low-carbon economic growth and prosperity. I was tasked with supporting my Unit with the outreach and engagement of the Director-General, regarding respective assigned regions and events (Africa, Asia and BRICS, prior also included: MENA, and SIDS)

In 2016, I became a lecturer in Geography in Education (Social and Economic Sciences, Wits School of Education). My responsibilities as a lecturer included; facilitating and sustaining a conductive learning environment, disseminating core theories, definitions, and practical techniques by pairing them with real world examples, encouraging positive social interactions, and providing constructive feedback on tasks. In 2014, I pursued my passion for education further by becoming an eLearning Support Agent at the University of the Witwatersrand's eLearning Unit while concurrently completing my Honours (2014, and working as a first year Geography tutor), and Masters (2015-present) degrees.
