My cumulative career experience includes both employment and freelance work, as well as business ownership. This gives me a well-rounded skill set to draw upon and speaks to my ability to adapt well to varied environments. I am able to bring together ideas, people and departments, in order to see a project through from start to finish. Having spent over 15 years in the Creative and Advertising Industry, I have developed and refined my skills as an accomplished design professional. With Freelance and Agency experience in both ATL and BTL campaigns, an extensive background in all mediums of print, packaging and brand engagement and marketing, as well as both traditional and digital marketing and experience working on local and international brands. My Creative skills range from Conceptualising, Art direction, through to the more technical, of Retouching, Finished art, DTP for Print and most recently, Flexographic Plate making. I am proficient in the various Adobe CC software programs and of course Microsoft Office, amongst others. I am mostly self-taught, I thrive in learning new skills and trades, I regularly study new techniques and enjoy researching to improve and upskill. Further to this, I have had the opportunity to explore other industries in both ownership and employment positions. I bought and ran a commercial plumbing company, during which time my ability to adapt, problem solve and learn enabled me to lead a successful business for several years.Having turned my attention to other interests over the years, I have spent time in the Hotel and Catering industry, Project Management and Consulting, Construction and Interior design and Creating custom Wallpapers.I have now reached a point in my career and in my personal life, where I have found the desire and need to peruse new opportunities and experiences… I am dedicated, highly focused and motivated with exceptional management, communication, problem solving and organisational skills. I understand the importance of creativity, time management, accuracy and attention to detail. I work well with others and am equally capable of working on my own. I pride my ability to exercise discretion, tact and diplomacy in a professional environment with both colleagues and clients.
