The role involves working in the new business team, selling IT hardware/software and upselling professional and managed services to build a new business pipeline. I work closely with technical architects to build the ideal infrastructure for a customer’s business needs – whether it be on premises or in the cloud - enabling the client to get the best use of the technology to support and future proof their business. While working on projects I also have regular contact with manufacturers such as HP, Dell, Cisco and Microsoft and distributors including TechData, WestCoast Digital, CMS Distribution and Ingram Micro.

My role at Docutech Office Solutions is to help organisations reduce their printing costs, improve their working practices and promote new technologies to enhance their business printing strategies. Whilst generating new business, I also help manage our existing customer base as a business account manager within a team of professional print specialists, covering every aspect of business printing, from desktop printing to departmental office print and production printroom. I specialize in Ricoh Production, MFD's MFP's and printers as well as HP. Both of which are market leaders within the printing industry.

My role at Simon Jersey is to generate new orders, maximise sales potential, establish new leads, and provide an aftersales service ensuring customer satisfaction. Daily duties include: making direct outbound calls to their existing client database, exceeding daily call targets of 80 calls, providing written quotes; cold calling and calling warm leads; investigating needs and establishing interest; building relationships and key contacts; ensuring maximum sales potential; handling departmental referrals, providing written quotes. The role involves dealing with customers from first point of contact through to sale.

My role included dealing with all inbound sales enquiries via incoming calls, website enquiries, departmental referrals and online chat for both new and existing customers. I managed clients through the sales cycle, from initial enquiry to close. It was my responsibility to understand each client’s requirements and promote solutions to match; to log all incoming calls and dispositions; to ensure compliance when dealing with our clients, ensuring all contracts are filled out correctly; to fully qualify every opportunity and document it on Daisy’s CRM system; to input details of every lead on Daisy’s CRM system, following set criteria; to qualify and pass on opportunities for solutions outside of inbound’s remit, inputting the details in Daisy’s CRM system; to seek to up-sell and cross-sell with every client; and to be compliant with health and safety company policy and legislation.
