I’ve always been the guy who needs to know how things work, always wanting to see if there is a way I can do it better. This trait has served me well in the industries I have worked in. My inquisitive nature has exposed me to what components go into quality design and the exceptional detail required to deliver high-end projects. I’ve worked in specification assisting Architects, Interior designers, Engineers and Landscape Designers for the past 25 years. I started this journey as an Electrician - the perfect trade for someone who needs to know the nuts and bolts behind a finished product. I developed my technical knowledge and an interest in the aesthetics of lighting design for projects. My roles as a Sales Representative in Wholesaling, Business Development Manager and State/ National Sales Manager in the lighting design industry developed this knowledge further. I’ve travelled around the world and learnt what industry leaders are doing.Offering expert opinions on projects to specifiers soon became a love affair where I built relationships with clients who began seeking my design input regularly. Since then, I have moved into the role of Architectural Specifications Manager with MD. In this role, I bring awareness of boutique building products to Architects, Landscapers and Designers. I am a people person at heart, enjoying meeting new specifiers and designers to discuss the benefits and characteristics of different products. Nothing brings me greater satisfaction than following up with designers after completing their projects and seeing how we have created something unique. I am incredibly passionate about the boutique products I can help specifiers with.
