Rejoining Mobile, Al-based Hummingbird Ideas as Director of Operations after a stint as Director of Marketing for nationally-recognized plaintiffs law firm, Cory Watson Attorneys. The opportunity to rejoin the talented group at Hummingbird Ideas and help grow a thriving agency in my hometown was difficult to pass up. With more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communication and advertising, I look forward to applying my learnings in my role leading the agency's business operations.Previously, I served as Vice President of Mobile, Ala.-based, boutique Ad Agency, Hummingbird Ideas; and as the Director of PR at Mobile, Ala.-based RSQ (formerly Red Square Agency). Before RSQ, I spent four and a half years in the world of professional Motorsports, primarily in the NASCAR Monster Energy (formerly Sprint) Cup Series. Serving as a publicist for three of the racing league's well known drivers, with a primary focus on cultivating editorial stories around the driver to benefit sponsors (such as Bass Pro Shops, McDonald's, GE, Philips, AXE, Activision, TomTom, The Hartford, Dodge, and Coca-Cola), team, and driver. As a publicist in NASCAR I secured editorial content with the likes of ESPN.com, FOXSports.com, The Charlotte Observer, Dallas Morning News, Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, and Orlando Sentinel; and secured video features on networks such as ESPN, FOX, TNT, and the NBC Sports Network. Prior to this role, I served in the team's Partnership Mgt. department, managing key relationships important to funding. I enjoy the marketing side of my experience from a strategic standpoint, but more than anything, I consider myself a people person that enjoys building lasting and beneficial business relationships.
