The Hummingbird train engine ran between New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama, and north to Louisville, Kentucky. One of the first train lines to receive the streamlined deco-influenced diesel engines—the Hummingbird appropriately had a tiny yellow Hummingbird painted against its black engine.
