This includes both technical implementations and business cases.Currently I design, model, simulate and build space link communications systems utilizing my complete set of engineering skills to architect the system, design the circuits and PCB and then code the software & UI.I can quickly get a product from specifications through agency approvals and into production. I am skilled in directing contract manufacturers/assemblers throughout product approvals and launch. I have demonstrated success in continuous improvement, problem solving, teamwork, communication and project management.As a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of experience in electronics engineering and project building, I have designed, led and overseen more than a dozen large scale programs. Budgets varied but generally were in excess of $1M.Over the course of my career I have architected and designed more than 25 high value products many still being sold commercially, in the Satcom and Airborne RF communications space and several more in the tele-remote industrial mining sector, resulting in a patent and over $50M in sales revenue.My products have featured prominently in projects for OneWeb, HNS, O3B, BAE, L3, EMS/Honeywell (Inmarsat), Titan, various DODs, Connexion by Boeing, Melco, Palabora Mining, Blue Mountain Resorts and others.My wish now is to bring my knowledge, insight and experience to mature engineering teams, new innovators, early stage projects, burgeoning businesses and/or great ideas that simply need to know how to get off the design room floorSome of my career achievements includes: Recognized for designing and programming a Ka band RF test system that allowed CPI to test, calibrate, and align product specs, attaining and successfully fulfilling $10M order for this product. Utilized over 20 microprocessors for controlling 11 different internal RF/control modules, successfully creating the B5KO(-A) family, the industry leading 160W Ka band SSPAs. Retrofitted CMP 25W Ku band ODU that increased performance and feature set.
