I have been working about eight years as an Operative Purchaser officer in Boliden Kokkola zinc factory. My main task is to purchase supplies to Central warehouse. Mostly I am responsible for purchasing automation, electricity and IT equipment, but I also procure process pumps and their spare parts, oils and other chemicals, lab equipment and tools and fasteningMy secondary responsibility is to work as a link between internal customers, like maintenance and production departments, with external vendors. Work includes lots of solving problem cases of materials or supply chains of products, which needs to be solved in one way or another.
