I'm delivering the first-ever legacy giving strategy for Canal & River Trust, a new charity with an ambitious vision for our future as custodians of over 2,000 miles of waterway in England and Wales. We're transforming our fundraising strategy to deliver long-term, sustainable income and growth so we can deliver on our aspirations for the future. I've developed the organisation’s first ten-year legacy marketing strategy and financial forecast. Working with select external agencies we're delivering an innovative, results-focused marketing programme. Key achievements to date are delivering the charity's first legacy brand proposition and targeted messaging; embedding legacy giving into organisational business as usual, engaging internal stakeholders in new initiatives to maximise legacy pledge potential. Exceeded targets for direct marketing campaigns in year one of the programme.
