At Shopify for Startups, I was responsible for helping our highest growth/impact merchants accelerate their growth. Here we were responsible for developing technology solution strategies, digital marketing assets, and educational learning resources. Worked in partnership with some of the largest accelerators and incubators to help make commerce better for everyone (SHEeo, Backstage Capital, District Ventures, etc). Developed partnerships with app developers and various partners to help educate and elevate our startup merchants experience.

As the Sr Account Manager and lead of Partnerships for the Shopify Ignite program and Shopify for Startups (S4S) program, I developed and grew programs that aimed to accelerate the growth of merchants. My focus was on events, education, partner offerings, and other exclusive incentives that facilitated growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, I ensured that our program offerings were constantly increasing, data and processes were optimized, and the overall merchant experience was improved. Communication was crucial in this role, and I was able to effectively convey complex programming and processes to senior leadership across the company. Strategic partnerships, including accelerators, technology, and agency partners, were also under my purview. Furthermore, I managed all internal operations, from CRM to email automation, project/program management, Shopify website, digital community, LMS, deal flow, data, reporting, as well as facilitating and hosting IRL events and virtual webinars. These collective programming efforts served important partnerships like the Detroit Pistons, Google, the Canadian Digital Adoption Program, the Government of Australia and Afropunk.
