-Lead specialist for the V2533-A5 and TrentXWB-84 engine programs, while providing support to the GE90, CFM56-5B, Trent700 and PW1100 engine programs as well as Honeywell APUs, thrust reversers and nacelle systems.-Evaluates and initiates engine maintenance programs, major and minor repairs and modifications, scheduling and parts requirement planning for increased operating reliability of the engines and APU-Implements mandatory modifications and inspections required by Aviation Authorities for the engine and APU-Structures and manages engine removal forecasts based on future fleet plans to drive down the operating and maintenance costs of the engines. -Coordinates engine shop visit activities such as budget and cost evaluation, transportation preparation and scheduling, workscope review, parts repair and replacement assessment-Regularly monitors engine performance trends; plans, reviews and monitors troubleshooting and maintenance tasks; monitors spare engine and APU availability-Reviews and validates service and purchase invoices, contract negotiations for commercial letters and industry supports-Regularly acts as project manager for special items and programs-Ensures adherence to industry and internal quality standardsSpecial Projects:-Acted as an airline representative for aircraft heavy maintenance visit-Acted as an airline representative during table inspections of V2533-A5 engine shop visits-Formulated process solutions and improvements for increased business efficiency and cost savins initiatives
