Was hired as an undergraduate assistant for Dr. Myles Entomology research lab. Role comprised of basic duties such as ensuring lab cleanliness, restocking supplies, checking mail, and running safety checks on the equipment. In addition, through this role I helped assist the graduate students in their research by performing wet lab work involving live mosquitoes, performing assays, PCR, and working with blood and microscopes. From August-December, I was offered the opportunity to learn how to conduct student research and create a research presentation/short paper.

Initially was hired as a cashier, but quickly promoted to Crew Leader after 3 months of working. Role involved training new crew, supervising opening and closing shifts, handling customer complaints, and filling in at other roles as necessary.
