Hi I'm Jasmine. I'm a Software engineer with a passion for art and design. I enjoy the logic puzzle aspects of computer science and how new technology fits together. As I journey through my MBA, I am becoming increasingly interested in business management of marketing and product.In my time at Cal Poly, I focused on data science, computer graphics, and databases. My senior project was writing and illustrating "Runtime" a children's book about computer science concepts. I also dabbled in electrical engineering, had some fun with arduinos, and got my red tag certification and ham radio license.In my junior summer I had the wonderful opportunity to intern in person at Workday on the supply chain management/procurement team. My project was building a chat bot for buyers and suppliers to communicate with each other directly in the app. I did other things as well such as adding fields to APIs and doing hot sauce challenges with my team.2020 was a whirlwind. In the beginning before COVID I had a lot of fun doing graphic design for the libraries in San Luis Obispo as well as building out orientation surveys while working at Comevo. I graduated in March as things were shutting down and my very last final was moved to be virtual.I had a very fun virtual internship at ReadMe where I learned some front end/full stack development using react and node.js. My projects included building out an edit mode and writing a slack/metrics integration. ReadMe did a fantastic job of organizing lots of virtual game nights, coffee chats, and escape rooms to keep spirits up in the uncertainty of the pandemic.In summer of 2020 I began at Ridgeline where I worked on the Data team. I had the chance to use new tools like AWS and datadog that I had not been exposed to before. I built out many APIs using python and an in house ORM. This inspired me to obtain my AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. Since then I have moved teams to the Integrations Experience Team (IX) which focuses on tooling and management of third party integrations for our customers. I am excited to work on these new projects and watch integrations get more developed at Ridgeline.In fall of 2022 I began my part time MBA journey at Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business. MBA was always something I wanted to pursue and I am so thankful for this opportunity and the encouragement and support of my family. My favorite part about the part time program (besides my wonderful cohort) is that I can learn about things in school and then immediately see them in action at work.
