Ms. Duran is currently a Research Associate at Global Cognition. In this role she has participated in research efforts aimed at developing training, education, and assessment to support cross-cultural competence. Most notably she has contributed to the validation of a model of cross-cultural competence which has been implemented in DOD policy.Ms. Duran is also a PhD student in the Human Factors Psychology Program at Wright State University. Her research interests include training for adaptive performance in novel and complex environments.
