My name is Jasmine Lockhart, I Graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice. I will graduate December 12, 2015. I have taken all basic courses on Criminal Justice which include Criminal Law and Correction. I am a fast learner. I pay very close eye to detail as of now I am currently employed with G4S security Solution where I am a secretarial security officer. I maintain front lobby, check in visitors and write official reports to head supervisor. I also volunteer with AmeriCorps Urban Safety Program. AmeriCorps Urban Safety Project is working to implement initiatives to increase public safety and decrease victimization in targeted neighborhoods throughout the City of Detroit. We improve levels of neighborhood guardianship; reduce victim attractiveness and susceptibility; and use technology for crime mapping and analysis, and for enhancing neighborhood communication on matters of public safety. AMUS members work with residents and community groups to assist in forming neighborhood block clubs and citizen patrols, recruit and engage landlords and tenants in neighborhood safety and revitalization projects, and implement safe pathways for students who walk and use public transportation in their daily commute to neighborhood schools. I organize community events ranging from educational forums to neighborhood potlucks to board ups of abandoned and open houses. I understand greatly customer service and being able to multi-task and work with a team even though I am very independent. I am a self-starter once shown the task I will be able to complete all aspect with a high level of quality. I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss the position further and my qualifications.
