Currently pursuing my Bachelors in Food Technology full-time at Singapore Institute of Technology.In the final year of my diploma studies, I undertook a six months internship position in BV-AQ, a quality assurance and control company. I was pleased to be provided with opportunities to apply my acquired knowledge and technical skills from my diploma in applied chemistry during the internship. As a Chemical Laboratory Intern, I learnt to determine the amount of macro or micronutrients in food samples through chemical means by following the given Standard Operating Procedures. I adopted good housekeeping practices and honed my laboratory skills with constant practice. My degree studies have provided me with greater depth of knowledge in food chemistry and in other aspects of the food industry. I have also developed better communication skills while delivering presentations to larger audiences in university and group work. I am eager to hear about potential career opportunities, I would be pleased to chat and learn more about the food industries.
