Acted as Business Lead for the WEC AMI Program Systems Implementation. Led cross functional workshops and created business requirements for WEC’s Gridstream MDMS Multi-Organization implementation. Collaborated with technical resources to ensure the unique requirements of two CIS systems, Gridstream MDMS, Command Center, and MV90 were considered when designing a single WEC solutionDesigned utility test plans for WEC’s Gridstream MDMS 3.9 upgrade and Command Center Center 6.3, 6.5 and 7.1 upgrades. I work as an analyst, spending much of my time managing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems. Managed daily operations of our manual remote service switch pilot program. I tested the Remote Service Switch functionality of AMI meters to ensure the technology aligned with existing business processes. Worked with developers and analysts to design changes to our billing systems to automate the process that was tested manually during our pilot program. I collaborate with cross-functional work groups to drive how AMI meter data is used at We Energies. I often act as a liaison between the business and IT. Created business design documents and technical requirements for developers. Worked closely with developers to resolve bugs during testing efforts.

Provided billing support for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project. Responsibilities included analyzing raw data using Microsoft Access and Excel, providing daily reporting for project managers regarding field installations of AMI meters, generating accurate bills for utility customers, and ensuring AMI meters were communicating properly with WE Energies' billing systems.Assisted with Credit and Collections by providing customer service phone support. Provided field and customer representatives and outside agencies with accurate and up-to-date customer information in order to disconnect and reconnect electrical services in a timely and professional fashion. Used experiences from Billing and Credit and Collections to assist in the development and implementation of new billing processes.

Processed financial paperwork, verified entries and audited payment approval forms.

Gathered and conducted an activity based cost analysis of automotive product shipments leading to over $50,000 in cost savings. Participated in an annual Common Carrier RFQ bid process by assisting with carrier negotiations regarding transportation service costs – the changes made to the company’s transportation network led to over $2 million in cost savings.

Assisted with the conversion from Hyperion Enterprise to HFM. Updated spreadsheets used by Regional Controllers to record the branches' financials. Gathered data using Oracle, Hyperion Enterprise and HFM for annual audits.

Spent the summer interning at Johnson Controls as a participant in Brown Deer High School's Aspire Adapt Achieve program. The program taught minority high school students leadership skills and provided an opportunity to work in a corporate setting. In this role, I processed new employee paperwork using PeopleSoft and maintained HR records.
