The bicultural program aims to increase opportunities for people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds to lead the design and delivery of community-led projects. This is achieved through employment of bicultural workers, delivery of capacity building, networking and advocacy for community-led practice. Cohealth now hosts a network of over 200 highly skilled bi-cultural workers from across victoria. This role also seeks to increase sector capacity to employ bicultural workers and build culturally safe work places that are inclusive and facilitate self-determination.
