About Jasmine Sanchez

I am an undergraduate student at New York University pursuing a double major in psychology and politics.I am incredibly passionate about the law, namely in the realm of criminal defense, human rights, and immigration. I am presently a research assistant with NYU's Social Justice Lab, investigating how the model minority myth influences White Americans' perceptions of Black Americans and Asian Americans respectively. Additionally, I am pursuing Teach for America's Ignite Fellowship, serving as a reading tutor for 2nd graders.Alongside my coursework at NYU, I am also currently Vice President of NYU's Journal of Medicine and Law, the Events Director and an Executive Editor for the NYU Undergraduate Law Review, and a Staff Editor for the NYU American Public Policy Review.I am currently seeking part-time roles for the upcoming Spring 2025 semester and full-time positions for Summer 2025.
