Developing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and the needs of the 20 students, nine of whom have IEP’s, and 18 of whom are bilingual (English and Spanish). The lessons include clear objectives, instructional strategies, and accommodations to support our MLL’s and those with learning disabilities.Helping set up and organize the classroom environment to facilitate learning, including arranging furniture and organizing supplies to best support the learning of the students.Teaching lessons according to the planned curriculum (ex. DIBELS, Acadiance, Amplify, etc.), using effective instructional strategies to engage students while adapting teaching methods and materials to accommodate the needs of students.Implementing effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.Monitoring the classroom and providing assistance to teachers and students in the placement classroom when needed.
