Lead IT SOX Risk and Compliance

Working with audit clients on the Logical Access, Manage Change, and Manage IT Operations sub-processes within PeopleSoft, SAP, JDE and Legacy applications.

Auditor responsibilities included:-Performing walk-throughs with the client from the beginning of a process to the end-Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management and controls-Following up on discrepancies discovered such as non-compliance to corporate policy or incomplete data-Communicating all findings to the audit lead on the assignment

-Performed access testing on client data to ensure proper IT controls were in place-Collaborated with the audit, tax and risk assurance teams on a variety of projects

Responsibilities included:-Preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses-Ensuring clients received the maximum benefit permitted under tax law by uncovering potential deductions and credits.

Responsibilities included:-Generating spreadsheets to conduct capital investment analysis on projects completed throughout the fiscal year-Completing business expense corrections caused by a software conversion to SAP-Preparing journal entries in SAP to reconcile monthly pre-paid rent expenses.
