I have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Environment, majoring in Science, at Macquarie University. Undertaking this degree has greatly prepared me to embark on a scientific career employing an array of laboratory and field skills. In conjunction with the effective communication and problem-solving skills developed through my employment experience, these skills have advanced by aptness to work in hybrid environments. Additionally, developing an academic project in restoration metrics and revegetation for a remnant in Macquarie’s Fauna Park has cemented my enthusiasm in procuring a career in conservation and restoration ecology.I have valuable experience in a variety of technological, laboratory and field skills including;ArcGIS, RStudio, MS Office suite, GPS, sediment analysis, topographic surveying, water quality sampling, pH testing, light microscopy, augering, plant identification, and site investigation.I am particularly interested in ecological restoration and conservation and am highly passionate about applying my knowledge in data analysis and experimental design to further research in this particular field of environmental science and biology.
