As a science teacher at Wake County Public School System, I apply my biology degree and cell biology expertise to create engaging and rigorous lessons for students. I also leverage my customer relations skills to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators. I have been teaching science for six years, and I obtained my lateral entry certification in secondary education and teaching from North Carolina State University in 2019. My mission is to inspire and empower students to explore and appreciate the natural world, and to develop their scientific literacy and critical thinking skills. I am passionate about biology and education, and I strive to continuously improve my pedagogical practices and professional development.
