From that age as early as 9 years old I attended "Just like home" daycare, I always knew that I had a passion for caring for children and looking out for their best interest. Even at age 9, I had experience working with babies by doing tasks such as helping change diapers, reading them a book, helping prepare meals and more. The older I became I knew that I had a passion for supporting and assisting children and families. My mother always told me "It starts with family care". Throughout my life I have had work experiences that has allowed me to solidify my skills with communicating with people, helping my employers or customers through tough problems and being someone trustworthy enough to be the person my employees as well as my clients can depend on. I became a behavior technician in 2022-2023, Having that experience working with autistic children allowed me to truly step into my passion of helping children and creating a safe space for them to learn and grow. As I continue to approach graduation in December, I know that I want to work in an environment where I can make positive changes and impacts to not only children but to their parents as well Positive change can start within the family and flourish from there.
