I am a junior accounting student at the University of Phoenix, Arizona, actively pursuing an Associate of Arts with a concentration in Business Fundamentals, projected for completion in November 2025. Following that, I plan to earn my Bachelor's in Accounting by November 2027, and I intend to pursue a Master’s of Accountancy at Louisiana State University to complete the 150-credit-hour requirement for CPA eligibility. My goal is to begin sitting for the CPA exam in 2028, leveraging my academic background.In my current role as a Tax Coordinator at Lamar Advertising Company’s corporate tax office, I manage business licenses for plants across the United States and oversee the renewal of business privilege and occupational business taxes. This role has given me valuable experience in tax law centered around business licensing, along with firsthand involvement in auditing, company mergers, and other tax compliance processes.
