As a first generation college grad with a sociology degree and background in quantitative data analysis, I don't just look at trends, but also think about how they're interconnected. I brush up on my statistics knowledge and skills regularly, which helps me to be a successful data analyst. My sociology major gives me a unique perspective that allows me to see possible meanings for connections, correlations, and causation. I strive to get to know people as more than just statistical cases by understanding insights. By looking at the data and recognizing that there is a personality behind each case, I can draw unique insights. I have prior experience with survey design and distribution via Qualtrics, as well as interpreting quantitative findings. I have used SPSS, Google Drive, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word for both coursework and during my internship.
