Australia for UNHCR is the UN Refugee Agency’s national partner in Australia, raising awareness and funds to support UNHCR’s global humanitarian work that provides lifesaving assistance and livelihood opportunities to refugees and displaced communities.In my role I delivered integrated communication strategies across owned and earned channels to support UNHCR's emergency campaigns and broader brand building. I was the lead media contact managing numerous high-profile stakeholders, corporate partners, international spokespeople, and ambassadors. I embedded a strong strategic approach across all communication channels (media, publications, digital, socials and events) to raise awareness of the refugee experience, advocate for UNHCR's delivery of life-saving protection globally, and deepen the base of Australian support.Key campaigns: annual World Refugee Day activity, UNHCR Global Trends Reports, Vogue partnership for Int.
