Path 2 Change is a non-for-profit organisation that provides assistance to young people 15-24 years, who are homeless or experiencing homelessness, in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Hunter region.
For more than 30 years, Path 2 Change (formerly Newcastle Youth Accommodation Service) has provided secular, client-centred, and strength-based case management to young people with complex barriers who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our specialised support helps these young people to access education, training and employment opportunities and work towards a future of independence.
Path 2 Change contributes to the Going Home Staying Home reform through collaborative case-management with Specialist Homelessness Services, and applies the ‘No Wrong Door’ approach to homelessness, in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Lower Hunter and Port Stephens areas.
