About Jennifer O'Sullivan

As a young Constable confronted with the realities of Kings Cross, the exposure to a diverse community brought awareness of the complexities of the social needs of individuals who have been impacted by mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness and domestic violence.Many personal life experiences and challenges, and employment opportunities continued to prepare, strengthen and shape me to be able to understand and truly relate to people who face adversities and the power of human resilience. My commitment to working with disadvantaged people in our community utilises my years of professional experience to facilitate change and development within a complex community services industry.I am an authentic and passionate leader able to build, lead and achieve change challenging the status quo, and finding innovative and effective ways to support disadvantaged people in our community.
