What that means is that we not only build and own shopping centers (our portfolio exceeds 3,000,000 square feet, most of which we built from the ground up) as well as manage them but we also have a brokerage division where we have the ability to represent landlords as well as tenants who are interested in expanding or entering our territory. The difference between us and other firms is that we have a tremendous understanding of a prospective deal from a landlord/developer standpoint. We have negotiated hundreds upon hundreds of leases for our own account so we understand better than conventional brokers every component of a deal.
