I start the morning setting up before the team arrives. Using excel logs I pull cure tubes and log their weights. I ensure work stations are equipped with scales, shakers, buckets, and trim bins. I then ensure the Ishida bud packaging machine is functioning properly. the other leads and I lead the morning meeting and stretches laying out the day’s tasks. Throughout the day I ensure a quick team pace and positive attitude. I manage the four stations of the bud packer as well as the labelers and preroll duties. With help from my fellow leads we keep our team busy with no time wasted in between tasks. I ensure the compliance of logged waste and packages. I enter logged waste and new packages into METRC using either METRC or Treefer. I ensure the Ishida machine runs optimally for each unique strain through slow adjustments within the Ishida control panel. I announce breaks and lunch and track who returns on time. I field many questions from my teammates and make sure they are heard and responded to respectfully and with haste. I call end of day to release the team from the shift.
