I am an experienced collegiate coach at the NJCAA Division I level and have been coaching college for almost 12 years. I have MA in History through Pittsburg State University and some experience teaching college classes. I joined the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College coaching staff near the end of the 2012 season. After an improved but tough 2013 season, we quickly transformed both teams into a high-caliber winning programs. Prior to the 2014 season, the men's and women's team had only one winning season between the two since the creation of the programs in 2008. During the 2014, 2015, and 2016 season, both teams had a winning season with 10 wins or more. Furthermore, the men's team won a regular season championship and a region championship in 2015. They repeated as region champions in 2016 and made four straight region tournament finals from 2014-2017. Also, the women's team won the region championship in 2013 and a regular season championship in 2014. For a three year spell the women's team also never finished below 2nd place in the regular season. In addition, both teams also broke into the NJCAA Division I Top 20 rankings for the first time during that three year run. During that highly successful run, I was apart of the coaching staff and contributed to all aspects of running a program. I helped with the planning and running of practice, recruiting, breakdown of game film, fundraising, academic monitoring, field work, and anything else that needed doing. I believe one of my biggest strengths as a coach is in recruiting. I enjoy the process and have a good eye for identifying high quality but attainable student athletes. From 2012-2017 I was the recruiting coordinator for the men's program and also did significant recruiting for the women's side. After a full academic year as only a full-time student during 2017, I rejoined the men's team in August 2018 as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator and currently work in that role. I am grateful to have been apart of the process that help student athletes graduate and transfer to 4-year schools. We have helped over 50 student athletes transfer and play at NAIA schools in addition to at all levels of the NCAA. Over a dozen of them have transferred to the NCAA Division I and Division II level.
