Lead and co-ordinate development and delivery of $24M construction and $18M maintenance programs for the department across its state-wide built infrastructure portfolio, ensuring delivery of these services to agreed standards.Optimise alliances and partnerships with key internal/external stakeholders and service providers (e.g., DHLGPPW/QBuild), and contribute to development and implementation of innovative strategies to meet the department’s facilities services requirements.Manage the multi-year $11M Facility Maintenance Agreement contract with QBuild that manages and delivers facility maintenance to the Brisbane CBD court complex, which includes the $700M Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law (Supreme and District Court)Manage and develop a high performing, efficient and effective team of 8 comprising of project managers, facility managers and admin staff.Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project and/or program delivery and proactively respond with strategies to address these impacts.Monitor, analyse, forecast, and report on program performance to ensure the Branch meets its performance targets and delivers its programs as planned.Provide high-level advice to Branch management and other departmental executives on infrastructure program planning and delivery status, expenditure forecasts, risks, and emerging issues.

Maintain a strategic program management plan for the establishment, planning and end-to-end delivery of multiple large volume, high value state-wide building assessment programs across the state, through the allocation and prioritisation of resources, identification of risks and issues, analysis of program positions and recommend strategies to resolve issues to ensure that programs continue to meet business strategies and agreed outcomes with customers.Lead and mentor a small team of Program Managers (5) and support staff to focus on the achievement of results through effective resource management and capability development for the team and individuals.Rolled out the state-wide $70M School Infrastructure Enhancement program for Department of Education, which spanned across geographically dispersed schools across the state with challenging complexities, such as local market labour and supply.

Manage team of 7 staff processing grant monies in line with the program objectives. The initiative is targeted at low-income households to replace roofs and doors, reinforce windows and tie down external structures. Options eligible homeowners can apply for a Queensland Government grant.Lead information sessions at public conferences, such as, local community centres and at the Local Government Association of Queensland Annual Conference.Research and develop policies and procedures to streamline grant administration processes.Administer the payment of grant monies to eligible homeowners via a comprehensive audit compliant third-party program.Undertake high level correspondence by responding to enquiries from state and Federal Minister positions, including submissions to Estimates enquiries.Undertook multi-disciplinary research and discussions with James Cook University Cyclone Testing Station and insurance bodies, such as Suncorp.Secured $20 million in additional funding through a successful submission to Senator the Hon Murray Watt, Minister for Emergency Management. This substantial funding boost significantly bolsters the program, making it the largest funded project from the one-billion-dollar Federally funded Disaster Ready Fund.
