I was an area operations manager for Shur-lok, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace fastener business. Shur-Lok is a part of Precision Castparts (PCC) Fasteners Division. I oversaw and coordinated a 140+person team that manufactured high volume aerospace fasteners. My team operated screw machines, CNC lathes and mills, centerless grinders, broaching presses, assembly machines, thread rollers, and other precision machinery.We measured success in terms of safety, quality, sales/throughput, efficiency/productivity, and cost.

I worked for the Sensors & Fluid Management Systems business unit within AMETEK's Aerospace & Defense Division. AMETEK manufactures highly engineered sensors for aircraft engine and airframe applications.After transferring to this site, I had multiple roles with continuously increasing responsibilities.
