CurrentLand Leadership Team (LLT) 2021-present. Helped create a 5-year land strategy, setting clear and effective department planning to ensure effective communication, progress digital modernization, align project commitments, identify “Unicorn Department Goals” and empower team members to create plans from survey to action. In addition, LLT conducted 20+ interviews in 2022 to fill various roles inhouse and contract for the Land and Data Teams. Secured like kind replacement agreements from City of Westminster (City Easements), Orange County Flood Control District (OCFCD Easement) and the State of California (Caltrans Joint Utility Agreement “JUA”) for the Interstate 405 relocation project. Re-secured license rights from SoCal Edison including negotiation down the arrears and future rentals payment for a savings of $750,000. Negotiated cash positive encroachment and 3rd party abandonment-removal agreements saving Chevron more than $500,000 in future liability. Completed negotiations, permitting and abandonment efforts with ANT II, Omega Rail, Los Angeles County Metro Authority (LACMTA) and BNSF saving the company $120,000+ a year in future rental obligations. Planning and coordinating between Land and Pipeline Integrity Management brought the project to a successful close. Working on abandonment and termination of multiple agreements to terminate rental obligations and reduce/remove future Chevron liabilities. Estimate $300,000+ in 2023 rental savings and another $300,000+ in future removal cost savings. Expedited a City of Los Angeles emergency pipeline integrity repair in a high consequence area (HCA) in Venice Blvd. by utilizing established governmental officials and agency relationships with the City of Los Angeles. Involved in an emergency response event, onsite support, stakeholder engagement and Liaison support. Permitting temporary access and emergency operations and drafted letter response for counsel.
