Major Accomplishments:• Graduated top of my class in diesel mechanics. (US Navy)• I was the leading Naval Petty Officer in my engineering workspace.• Since my separation from the Navy, I have achieved success in the maintenance industry because of my ability to quickly learn tasks while either working independently or as part of a team while exhibiting consistent accuracy. • On multiple occasions, I have flown overseas to rebuild Daihatsu Generators with the assistance of only one other person.• I’m knowledgeable in Sulzer, Man B&W, Pilstick, Fairbanks-Morse, Daihatsu and Wartsila engines. • Switched successfully into the Paper industry as a Journeyman Millwright. • I became a certified crane inspector and assumed the maintenance and record keeping for all overhead cranes in the Pulp Mill area. • I became a Certified Ergonomic Evaluator while serving on the Ergonomics Team. Our goal is to evaluate and eliminate injuries caused by ergonomic issues. • I was chosen to represent the millwright craft on the Clearwater Paper LPOP project in Lewiston Idaho. In this capacity I was tasked with ensuring our new equipment was installed within specifications, spares were properly set up as stock. I created new Standard Maintenance Procedures for the new equipment. I also utilized my ergonomic certification and experience to ensure future maintenance tasks could be done safely from an ergonomics stand point.• I was selected for the position of Alternate Mechanical Planner.• I was asked to join and currently serve on the Advisory Committee at Lewis-Clark State College as a Millwright Specialist. • I was asked to Join and currently serve on the Idaho CTE board of directors.• 7 years experience in the Pulp Mill side including : Chip conveyors , digesters, brown fiber, bleach fiber , lurgi plant, oxgen reactors, caustic plant and polysulfide plant producing orange liquor. .
