Renaissance Planning is a planning, design, and policy analysis consulting firm dedicated to creating cities that work. Renaissance specializes in the integration of transportation, land use, urban design, and technology for communities to create thoughtful, lasting plans and policies. The firm's core philosophy is placemaking – which is the art of creating livable physical environments supportive of transit, walking, bicycling and social interaction through urban design and multimodal transportation planning. Jason is comfortable working in scales from the region to the street. Served as an advisor to country delegations at the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development in New York, providing technical expertise, coordination, outreach and consultation for numerous special events. Fundraising and Project Administration. Coordinated proposals, budgets, project implementation and reporting for numerous sustainable development related grant agreements totaling over $ 1.5 million over an eight year period.Event Management and Facilitation. Convened, organized or facilitated over 30 workshops, conferences, training sessions, exhibits, e-conferences and e-consultations of varying size and scope, in the United States, Switzerland, Nepal, Peru, Spain, and France.
