Originally conceived as an idea between two friends A to Z Smoke Shop was established in early 2010 as a Roll-Your-Own tobacco chain. After establishing a foothold in Peoria, AZ, by late 2010 we were already rapidly outgrowing our original location plus looking to serve the central Phoenix area as well. In late 2010 A to Z Smoke Shop opened their satellite location off of Indian School Road in central Phoenix. Working with local contractors and artists we built an oasis in the center of the city, a smoke shop that defied what you expect of a smoke shop. Unfortunately, the Phoenix location closed in July, 2014, but the Peoria store is doing better than ever. In January of 2011 our original location shut its’ doors and moved into a brand new, 4500 sq.ft, location. Following in the pattern of our second location this building also features a walk-in humidor, clean & well-litenvironment, and well-trained staff.

Hostile got noticed by creating custom t-shirts, hoodies and headwear, and being amongst the first few brands to go against the norm. Placing screen prints over seams of shirts which was frowned upon in the industry, but turned heads and allowed people to step outside the box, eventually creating a unique product only a hand full of people had.
