These people are looked at as music tastemakers.Did you know that these same people hate that their best option to share their music library is YouTube because there is no community aspect to it?EarBuds was created to change that.While the majority of music discovery happens through friends and social networks, no platform existed to seamlessly bring the two together. In 2017, after a six-year NFL career, I set out to solve that problem. I founded EarBuds, a peer-to-peer music sharing app, which allows users to listen in real time with friends and influencers while developing a community on the platform.EarBuds is different because we are focused on the user experience. Instead of rushing to market, we meticulously rolled out app functionality, generating user feedback and iterating to make sure it’s just right.Industry relationships have been a significant piece of what we’ve been able to do. We’re partnered with Spotify and Apple Music, ensuring users won’t be limited by the music provider they use. We’ve also leveraged relationships with brands, labels, and influencers, recruiting top athletes, artists, and personalities to create verified accounts. Nelly, Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Josh Abbott Band , Jordan Hicks, and Delanie Walker are some of the influencers currently using EarBuds.We are excited about next steps for EarBuds as we continue to improve and enhance the platform.
