I have a thoughtful process for problem solving and am very detail-oriented in all aspects of my life, which leads me to be confident in the accuracy and thoroughness of my work. I have held many technical roles in my 10+ years of experience and am excited to use these developed skills in my transition into a career in product management. I am a passionate person and a high-achiever, helping me to reach my goals of earning an athletic scholarship to play Division I collegiate hockey, get accepted into a coveted master’s program, and be hired for 2 internships and a full-time role in a highly-competitive time in the energy industry. I played competitive hockey for 18 years and was fortunate to reach the professional level, making me well adapted in leadership, collaboration, helping others, and a team-first mentality. I have the ability to lead and also work well within a team and in taking direction. I have worked on a large number and diverse range of teams through my athletic, academic, and professional experiences, and run my own summer hockey camp with over 350 skaters attending each year.I am 200-hour certified Yoga Teacher, and received my training from Pralaya Yoga in Houston, under Robert Boustany. I am also a certified Level 4 USA Hockey Coach, and previously held a certificate as a CrossFit Level 1 trainer. I taught 8 sections of a geology lab over my tenure as a master’s student, and have coached and taught hockey skills for the last 21 years. I am lifelong learner and very passionate about working with and teaching people of all ages and across multiple disciplines.
