The AMS Innovation Center Phoenix manufactured silica optical fiber, capillary and rigid tubing as well as fiber optic devices and subassemblies including the SureFlex and AccuFlex Lithotripsy fibers and Greenlight 2090 PVP fibers. We also manufactured a line of analytical chemistry consumables including press-fit unions and "Y" splitters. The Phoenix facility included twelve CO2 laser micromachining workstations to cut, shape, machine, weld and polish fused silica articles.While at AMS, Jason was responsible for new product and process development for fiber optic medical devices, failure analysis of product returns, and documentation of validations, processes, testing and training.
