○ IQ produced the first true 200 micron core laser URS fiber in 1996 & made it reusable in 2000: SureFlex™ (AMS trademark)
○ IQ was first to demonstrate laser polished bare fiber tips (first for Los Alamos for 0.5J pulses @ 20ns in 0.2 mm core, then in 2004 as AccuFlex™ laser URS for Boston Scientific, their trademark)
○ IQ produced the first water-cooled side fire fiber for laser BPH surgery (sold as MoXy™ at AMS)
○ IQ produced the first 150 micron laser URS fiber in 2005 and it won the Medical Device Design Excellence Award in 2006
Our new ProFlex™ LLF represent the next stage for safety & efficacy for laser URS fibers on most holmiums & ProFlex™ LDD is nearing market release with staggeringly high performance for a side firing BPH fiber -- 200+W Ho, TM or diode for 300+ KJ. Subsequent models will offer more disruptive performance, value and ergonomics.
ProGuard™ LLF, our new sapphire tipped & burn back resisting laser URS fibers, is to be released next year and our purple Phoenix™ BPH laser is projected for 2017.
