o Direct operations of the financial organization, ensuring sound financial and other business practices in accordance with GAAP, company goals, objectives and profit plans. o Create 5 Year, Annual, and Quarterly budgets for management of $275M in capital and expense spending for Administration, Surface Processing, and Underground Mining Operations. Manage the consolidation of capital assets, maintenance and operating budgets, the review of appropriation requests against approved budgets for availability of funds prior to commitment, and oversee controls to ensure that budgeted expenditures do not exceed amounts authorized and closure reviews.o Provide Financial justification of spending needs. Sales Tax, Production/Severance Tax, Property Tax, Royalty, Audits, Discounted Cash Flow, Cash Management, Workers Compensation, Financial Reporting. Interpret operating results as they affect financial aspects of the business and recommend measures to reduce costs and increase profits. Implement financial improvements to increase the organization’s effectiveness and contribute to stakeholder satisfaction upon data driven decisions. Prepare Finance and Operations Strategy Board packs for Executive team presentations.o Participate with other Senior Managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. M&A Financial modeling, due diligence, and integration as needed. Strategic planning for Corporate business improvements with competitive knowledge and business acumen.

o Purchase Orders and Contract Management for $100M in plant operations expenditures. Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action to improve operational efficiencies, expedite overdue material and determine the root cause of problems and coordinate corrective actions. Manage the preparation of plans, oversee project schedules & related activities. o Request supplier quotations, prepare bid tabulations and select best qualified bid. Negotiate agreements with suppliers to obtain best terms and conditions for the Company. Issue/approve purchase orders and supplements in accordance with established policies and procedures. Negotiate and issue blanket/open purchase orders for repetitive-type requirements.o Enforce terms and conditions of purchase orders, and compliance with legal requirements and Company policy. Resolve non-conformance issues, back-charges and claims in a timely manner to minimize the Company's exposure. Review questionable situations and interact with other groups to ensure requisitioned satisfaction.

o Black Belt projects. $400k investment resulting in $3.5M revenue/cost savings.o Green Belt projects $250k investment resulting in $1.0M cost savings.o Five Kaizen projects. $150k investment resulting in $500k cost avoidance. o Analyze KPI and performance statistics and identify areas for improvement. Lead quality projects and kaizen activities within LSS, analyze volume information and identify opportunities to optimize, advise internal customers how process changes on their side can help to improve quality of operations. Analyze Internal procedures and areas for improvement and develop and maintain SOP and other process documentation

o Present monthly close activities and Quarterly Budget forecasts to VP Manufacturing, CFO, General Manager, Partners, and Board for approvals. Ensure transparency in financial reporting, disclosures and work within the internal control environment.o Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss journal entries for Mine and Surface Operations, Maintenance, Administration, and Capital spending. Perform Preparation and/or approval of various journal entries, preparation and approval of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and calculation and recording of monthly entries. Cash management and Accounts Payableo Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance and reporting for General Accounting by supporting internal and external audits. Maintain business process for cost allocations of expense and related documentation.
