Understand customer business use cases for Varonis data classification, confirm customer regulatory needs ranging from federal and state-wide regulations in the US , various Federal regulations in the EU and APAC, including but not limited to GDPR) and ensure relevant rules are enabled to more closely align their regulatory compliance requirements for their business or industry. Make recommendations to fine-tune classification results, identify risks, such as excessive access to sensitive data and stale sensitive data, data ownership, and data governance around sensitive data. Review risks to sensitive data with over-permissive access, analyze customer workflows for data classification, provide tuning strategies and demonstrate rule tuning, create remediation workflows for locking down sensitive data, automate tracking and reporting progress of risk reduction to C-level/executive leadership, review and establish long-term goals and risk mitigation strategies with customers via ongoing recurring touchpoint meetings
