I work as the liaison between the Prosecutor's Office and the news media. This involves giving interviews to print, radio and television reporters, preparing and releasing press releases about the newsworthy cases handled by the office and developing strategies to promote the important and good work happening in the office.I have expanded upon my position significantly in the past six years. I have turned it into the nexus for all social media and online activities. I create videos on unsolved crimes and events at the prosecutor's office to take advantage of new media. I have become involved in managing grants for the office and coordinating efforts to focus public money to develop new law enforcement-related resources for the community.

Highlights: Six-month series in 2005 followed the experiences of a Camden, NJ, woman learning to live without welfare.Two years spent covering politics and policy at the county level in Camden County.One-week trip to Liberia in 2004 concluded a yearlong investigation into the lives of refugees living in this country. A 28-page special section resulted. Received numerous professional awards and recognition, including First Place New Jersey Press Association Award and Gannett “Well Done” Award for Liberia Project.
