Manage a team of highly qualified Maintenance Technicians; assign work, establish goals, identify employee development strategies, monitor and evaluate employee performance, interviewing & hiring, rewarding and disciplining, etc.Responsible for maintaining all Water and Sewer Facilities by managing preventive maintenance, completing repairs, and completing equipment/process upgrades to ensure that facilities are safe and compliant with regulatory requirements.Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises all staff activities related to the installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of Water & Sewer Facility equipment/systems; process mechanical, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation & controls, communications, etc.Prepare and submit annual department budget request and accompanying justification reports and/or technical information. Supervises and approves expenditures from various departmental budgets.Monitor and enforce employee compliance with safety policies.Plans and manages contracted services.Review drawings and specifications for the design of capital improvements. Review and approve submittals for materials and equipment.
